Horoscope 2012

The 2012 astrology year begins with a lingering influence from 2011. Jupiter, the wealth planet, was moving backwards causing cash shortages and economic crisis but by January 1st 2012 things improve as the planet starts moving forward again. This brings news about improvements in the economy and most individuals will also experience enormous improvements in their personal financial affairs as well.

This kind and prosperous influence continues throughout the year but many people will be doing a lot better than they ever expected when Jupiter in Gemini starts a trend towards economic recovery. If you are an air sign in the performing arts or in the media you will especially do well in the last half of 2012 because of this prosperous influence. On June 6th a powerful woman or female influence somehow figures into the rebalancing of the world economy and a general feeling that things are going to improve in every aspect.

However the world-wide economic crisis will still be affecting most people as Saturn in Libra creates red tape and slow-downs in government. Big institutions such as hospitals and schools also become less efficient when Saturn enters Libra. After Saturn enters the lean and mean sign of Scorpio on October 14th many of us will be hearing news about cut-backs, increased taxes or new laws that make life a little more expensive in general. The worst months economically for most Zodiac signs are going to be February, June and July when Jupiter does not align well with Saturn. We will hear a great deal of news about overspending and misappapropriated funds sat this time. Debt may still be overwhelming some signs, especially the earth signs of Virgo, Taurus and Capricorn.

Uranus is in Aries all of 2012 bringing us rapid evolution when it come to technology. However it will also bring the religious freaks and cult leaders out of the woodwork to preach about the apocalypse. Terrorism, mass delusion and explosions (both environmental and those caused by war) will be in the news this volatile year.

Neptune in Pisces causes people to trust their intuition more than they trust facts and figures. It is best not to rely on wishful thinking and hope that big problems with resolve on their own.

People tend to be a bit more hot-headed about romance when Neptune is in Pisces so there will be more than news than usual about crimes of passion in the newspapers.

On December 21st there is an unusual planetary alignment between Pluto, Saturn and Jupiter. A crisis, either environmental or war-like, is likely to alarm most of the world, perhaps even having us believe that the worse case scenario can happen. However, democratic and placating vibes from love planet Venus prevents the disaster or conflict from being worse. Pluto is a planet of deep transformation, and along with the influence from Venus, the world will be able to find solutions for the worst of it’s problems rather than go through a full-fledged apocalypse as predicted by so many.

2011 Will Not Be Pretty. Here Are Some Things You Can Do.

devkhalsa.com Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock you probably know there is something truly awesome in the works. The economy is imploding and it WILL affect you BIG TIME. Listen to this… The US Census Bureau says that over 43 million Americans are now living in poverty, the highest in over 50 years their records have been kept. 13% of the American population is now living on food stamps; a whopping 17% increase over last year. Close to half of American families spend more than they earn each year. The average household carries $8000 in credit card debt. Personal bankruptcies have doubled in the past decade. The National Inflation Association (NIA) reports that even if all US citizens were taxed on 100% of their income the US government could still not balance the budget. We are rapidly reaching the point where the government cannot afford to pay even the interest on the debt. In the 1930’s anyone who was out of work was reported as being unemployed. Now the government only records people who are receiving benefits. Excluded are: people who have given up looking for work people with part time work but are looking for full time work unemployed people whose benefits have expired The official unemployment rate is 9.3%. The real one is probably is closer to 20%. As long as US dollar is the world reserve currency the government can print its way out of debt which is exactly what is happening right now. All of this is bringing us to a currency crisis and what we will see

How The West Went Bust – Part 1

www.thefrockdoctrine.co.uk A documentary by Robert Peston, a financial correspondent with the BBC. With his take on how the West came to be in the financial dire straights in which it now finds itself. He highlights the differing attitudes toward debt and saving between Chinese people and those in the UK. In the past Robert Peston has been accused of being too close to the banks and bankers, and this documentary definitely lets them off lightly. But, it is still an interesting piece and useful in it’s own way.

US economy: Taste of its own medicine?

The US managed to avoid the first default in American history, but other countries have had their economies collapse. In the past the US has advised solutions for many other countries about their economic situation, but now other countries are wondering if the US should get a dose of its own medicine? In August 1998 Russia recorded its first year of positive economic growth since the fall of the Soviet Union; Russia was forced to default on its debt, devalue the ruble, and declare a suspension of payments by commercial banks. What can the US learn for the Russian economic financial crisis after so much had been accomplished and what can we learn?
